Network Infrastructure & Business Phone Systems
Small-business networks and phone systems, built by people who have run them in production for 25 years — pfSense firewalls, Ubiquiti UniFi design and installation, and cloud-hosted FreePBX phone systems. On-site in the Birmingham metro, remote everywhere else.
Contact UsCloud-Hosted Phone Systems (FreePBX)
Your phone system in the cloud — no hardware to buy, no closet box to babysit. We deploy FreePBX on cloud infrastructure from a proven pattern, remotely managed, and priced like a service instead of a construction project.
Installation & Migration
New systems stood up in the cloud, and migrations from aging on-prem PBX hardware — numbers ported, features preserved, no missed calls in between.
IVR & Call-Flow Design
Menus, ring groups, business-hours routing, and queues designed around how your business actually answers the phone.
SIP Trunking & Extensions
Trunk provisioning, extensions on desk phones and mobile apps, and the carrier wrangling nobody enjoys doing themselves.
Voicemail-to-Email & Features
Voicemail in your inbox, call recording, conferencing — the features turned on and configured so people actually use them.
Networks & Firewalls
Ubiquiti UniFi
Network design and installation — wired, Wi-Fi, and cameras — on the UniFi platform, sized for your building instead of a spec sheet.
pfSense Firewalls
Serious perimeter security without enterprise licensing — VPNs, VLANs, and traffic rules configured and documented.
Remote Management
Monitoring, updates, and support after the install — your network stays maintained, not just installed.
Built and Running
Twenty-Five Years of Production Infrastructure
MLR's founder spent ten years as contract CIO of a healthcare company — designing and optimizing its network, and running its FreePBX phone system on cloud infrastructure back when hosted PBX still meant a box in a closet. Before that: six years operating production mail and web infrastructure for a solo-founded SaaS, provisioned end to end with Chef on VPS hosts. This is not our first network.
